New podcast, samples, and update on launches

December is upon us! I have a few new things as well as a live and important update, so grab yourself some coffee and let's get started!
1. Podcast Episode #8: Ownership
What are you taking ownership of? We've talked about taking our thoughts captive, but what happens when we don't? Today we'll be talking about some practical tools to get up and fight—and teach our children. If you've been speaking "I am, I have, I'm not, I can't, I don't . . . " it's time to test them against the Word. Are they true? Are they life? If not . . . they're about to get an eviction notice. This one's a doozy!

3. Update on PE and USH 6
PE is so close, we are hoping to launch it next week so that we have a few days to print before the warehouse closes for the Christmas break. Please keep in mind that our shop will not be open for print orders from Dec. 23–Jan. 3 (reopening on the 3rd) so if you want print, you'll want to get that in soon.
We have an add on for PE that I can't wait to share with you and I'll tell you more about it in the live today. But, I did want to give an update on USH 6. I was reviewing it at the same time and we were aiming to have it out together with Sports and PE but as I was working through it, I just really felt the Lord leading me to go another direction on it. Some of you will remember when this happened earlier in the year, throwing our schedule off. It isn't ideal, but I have to follow what I feel God is saying. If you've been waiting for the 1-6 bundle and want a refund or want 1-5 to ship and just refund 6, please hit reply and we can get you going on that before the Christmas break. Otherwise, I plan on working on that over the break and hope to have it out in January at some point so hopefully we aren't too delayed.

Our Ready to Read program includes all of your subjects blended with a full phonics program that is strategically skill based rather than age. With the unique design of this program, you can place your child exactly where they need the help in their journey to reading fluency, regardless of their age! Books 1 and 2: Students are focusing on three-letter words and more simple letter blends to make reading more fluent and focusing on speed and mastery. These are called CVC words (consonant, vowel, consonant) and would be appropriate for around kindergarten to Grade 1, depending on the child and their development. Book 2 will begin to bridge into the next level or reading. Book 3: Students are focusing on four-letter words and beginning to focus on changing sounds of letters as well as exceptions. These are called CVCV words (consonant, vowel, consonant, vowel, such as bake) and would be appropriate for around kindergarten to Grade 1, depending on the child's development and the goals of the family. Book 4: Students are focusing on four-letter words, compound words, and how vowels can combine to make diagraphs (new sounds). These are called CVVC words (consonant, vowel, vowel, consonant, such as bear) and would be appropriate for around kindergarten to Grade 1, depending on the child's development and the goals of the family.
