Regardless of how "well" your family does this Mother's Day of recognizing you (or even if they do at all), don't let it be how you gauge your worth. Sometimes I think women need one another to gather around us and remind us that we are doing the good work, that this matters, and to keep on going! May you experience the peace that surpasses all understand, joy that will carry you on, and may you take the time to see the little treasures. HE sees you, and that is all that really matters. Happy allergy season! Am I the only one sniffing and itching my way through April? It's been a rough month down here in Georgia. Everything seemed to wake up in a flurry: the plants bloomed, the grass turned green, the bugs exploded, and the chimney swifts returned. While it was an interesting experience last year, it was a long season of our lives with very little sleep so I have spent my days clanging in my chimney to avoid them making nests and finally getting a cap installed.
