Let’s Talk Money (Plus a Giveaway!)

Our next unit in the Modular Math program is here — Money is now available for your family to enjoy!

This is such an important step along your child’s math journey, and this unit includes some really meaningful features that we think you’re going to love.

Money is a little different from our other units, especially in Foundations. Because understanding currency is such a key life skill, we wanted our youngest learners to build a firm understanding of the money they actually use. That’s why the Foundations step is available in both U.S. and Canadian currency, so your littles can truly grasp what bills and coins represent and how they work in real life.

Foundations is the only step with two currency options. Once students move beyond Foundations, all remaining steps are taught in U.S. dollars and expand into deeper, real-world financial concepts. Steps 5 and 6 focus exclusively on real-life budgeting and financial literacy, giving students practical tools to plan, manage, and steward money wisely. All the steps in between explore the importance of money, banking basics, savings vs. checking accounts, writing checks, and more.

These are real-life financial literacy skills, and even if you are not looking for another math curriculum, we recommend everyone snag this to add to their homeschool day!

Not sure which step is the right fit for your student? Be sure to take our Placement Test before you begin. It’s a simple way to confidently determine where your child should start so they can jump in at the level that’s just right for them.

Don't want a full math curriculum, no problem! Maybe you just have gaps or areas that need some extra practice, and that, my friend, is why we created the Skill Builders. Take a look at both the content in each step or link to the Skill Builder to grab a digital practice pack to help reinforce a topic.
