New Fifty State + Back to School Sale

Welcome to the Bayou!

Louisiana is our newest stop in our Fifty States series, and we are so excited to share this one with you guys. If you haven’t been following along with our Fifty States, we are going through all fifty states one by one, giving you all the details and adventure each state has to offer, these mini units really pack a whole lot in. They can be completed in 4 days but cover all your subjects except math, which you can check out right here, and I really encourage you, if you haven’t checked out all our other states so far, to take a look right here.

Louisiana has so much to offer, and your students will learn all about the uplands, pine forests, marsh, and more while meeting the Robinson family, who turned duck calls into an empire, and seeing some incredible nature along the way, from brown pelicans to Catahoula leopard dogs and the iconic mudbug. Some of the road trip stops include the TABASCO factory, New Orleans, and Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge, and we will also talk about the agriculture, aquaculture, energy, and transportation industries that are so important to Louisiana.

The student books are broken up into 3 levels, and some of the activities include mapping, lesson summaries, levees, Hurricane Katrina, animal communication, and Mardi Gras.

If you have been following along our journey across the Fifty States, or if you are just thinking about giving it a try, this is a great state to jump into. Let me give you a quick breakdown of how it works. Student books are broken into 3 levels. Level one is pre-reader to early reader, level 2 is early elementary to upper elementary, and level 3 is middle school to high school. It is designed to...

As students move up, they’ll explore multiplication with decimals, integers,...
