Let's talk about tech!

Hey there!

I hope you had an amazing Easter weekend celebrating the Resurrection with your family! We enjoyed some much-needed rest at our house and my parents got creative with a reel they watched and "became" the Easter egg hunt! I mean, if you want to mix it up for teens, try clipping the eggs on a shirt and chasing grandpa down . . . while being squirted with water guns. #wet

Coming up . . .

Are you struggling to help your teens develop and maintain a healthy relationship with their tech devices? You are not alone. As parents of teens, we know this battle well and wanted to share some surprising strategies we have tried. Join us on Facebook or YouTube for our live discussion on Wednesday at 2 p.m. EDT (tomorrow), and let's dive a little deeper.

The Old App Is Going Away!

Did you hear the news? We will be shutting down our previous app at the end of this week and moving to the new one. Maybe you didn't even know we had an app! In which case . . . let us tell you all about it!

Our app is free and contains resources (such as video links for rabbit trails, book lists, binder spines, planning pages, and more) to go along with every single unit. We also post news and updates there to keep you in the loop so for those of you who want to break from social media . . . we've got you! Why are we changing from one platform to another? There are a number of exciting new features that mean we can offer you an even better experience than before, plus we are working on a brand-new membership option with weekly challenges, a private community, the ability to find people who live near you, exclusive podcasts from myself, AND a new virtual co-op starting up this fall.

How do I access the new app? If you are using our old app (or are new to it in general), you will need to create a new account to continue accessing our free resources. There are no charges for the resources and you will have all the same access you did before. In fact, if you use the resources, you can even have a built-in tracker that shows what you have completed (which is great for record-keeping)! Simply click on the button below to join. You can access it from a computer or scroll down on the page to download it on the app store if you are on mobile. We'll close down the old app on the weekend and we will not be migrating everyone over as we want it to be your choice so that we are building an engaged community or people who want to be there.

Our Online Conference

Registration for our online conference will open on April 29th! We will also release the schedule that day. The conference will feature worship, a preview of our new math program, and encouraging sessions for the whole family. Keep an eye on your email to get notified when registration opens!

Thank you for being a part of the Gather ‘Round family and hopefully we'll see you on the Gather 'Round show tomorrow!

Joining you from the trenches,
