I feel like I always show up in your inbox bursting at the seams. Is it that I wait too long between e-mails or just that things move quickly around here? Maybe a bit of both as I'm certain some would not agree that we are moving too quickly ;) We have lots to talk about in today's email, so settle in, grab some hot coffee or tea, and let's chat Gather 'Round!

First off, we took some time hiding in a campground recovering after Pigeon Forge convention. That. Was. Insane. You would think the sheer number of people in our booth or sitting in my sessions or coming up to share how Gather 'Round has impacted them would lead to feelings of great accomplishment, but the truth is, it was insanely humbling. I wish I could describe to you what it was like to be in a building surrounded by people who share your heart and values for your family, to remember why you are doing this, to remember that you are not alone. If you haven't made it to a convention, you have one last shot at NCHE THRIVE 2022 and it is so worth it. Unfortunately, this will be our last convention of the season. We had trouble getting accommodations (a sure sign that its going to be epic) in the Wildwoods so we will not be able to attend. We'll be finishing up our tour with North Carolina and then we're back in the unknown of 'what now'? We feel very strongly that we are not to be looking for properties but just get out of the way and let God move in His big, wild, unexpected way. This is not just our testimony, this is the testimony of all of us and what God is doing is bigger than we can plan for. So we are choosing to not strive and instead trusting Him and just enjoying the final leg of this journey and meeting the incredible people God has for us to meet. Meanwhile, I work round the clock trying to keep all the balls in the air. Let's pop behind the scenes of our tour bus and have ourselves a little update, shall we?

​Chemistry is live!

And it is epic. Sure, I say that with every unit, but there is just something about this one. Who would have guessed that God could anoint chemistry? And yet, that is precisely what He has done. The pages in this unit point undeniably to our awe inspiring creator and it is so full of life, your 5 year old is going to be ALL IN. I'm telling you, you're sitting there thinking that this is a high school unit and you're wrong. This is a unit for the whole family and it is worth looking at. Go read the lesson on the site and take a look. Also, we do have an add-on experiment book to go with this but it is delayed and I'm not sure when it will be coming BUT we are going to include it in our lifer package so take heart ;) If you were wanting to do those together, it might be worth waiting till closer to the sale.

​Check out chemistry​
The add on writing track for this unit is NOT NECESSARY! It is a paragraph writing track and every single one of those lessons is included in our daily writing lessons IN the chemistry unit. I only pulled it out and am selling it separately so that it can be added on to any unit in case you need to work on paragraphs and you aren't at chemistry yet. This will give a great foundational base to your child's writing no matter what their age. If paragraphs are a challenge in your home, check that out and add it on no matter where you are in your year! Which brings us to another exciting detail.

Details on our Back to School Sale

​Will there be an online convention? Yes! We will do an online convention. It will be smaller than last years, maybe a little less beautiful without all our fancy equipment, but we are going to be doing daily encouragement and even some worship from our camper each day of the sale for FREE (no need to register). This year, we will be scaling things back a bit and doing the convention on Facebook live instead. We will set up an event closer to the time and post a schedule as well.

What about an in-person convention? While it seems a long way off in the future, we are looking and praying into our first in-person convention for 2022. The plan would be to alternate them yearly between the US and Canada (likely Alberta). So if you are interested (it would likely be in a southern state for our first year such as TN, AL, GA, etc.), stay tuned for more details.
